Salicylic acid is a type of BHA that works to clear dead skin and improve the appearance of acne and other blemishes. Salicylic acid's anti-bacterial properties control excess oil production and brighten dull skin. Amino acids and root extract soothe and hydrate, protecting the skin from the potential drying effects of salicylic acid.
